These highly intelligent, powerful creatures are a marvel. Having a strong family unit, and at times working together to achieve the same goal, the Orca’s are thought to be the “wolves of the sea”. They Own their name as an apex predator, as kings of their domain.

I feel the marriage of the power and gracefulness that the “Totem of the sea” is projecting when placed in it’s natural setting. The seabird in flight accompanies the grandfather whale on it’s journey to the hunting grounds. He watches over the young bulls as they take the lead. The mood feels heavy yet saturated with purpose.
